With MTC's new Friends & Family service you can now select 4 of your most frequently dialed numbers to receive our discounted Friends & Family rates if you have a Contract package.

As a MTC Contract client you can choose any 4 MTC numbers Contract or Tango - and you will qualify for a 10% discount on all mobile to mobile calls to these 4 numbers.

To start chatting with your Friends & Family discount, you have to activate this service by dialing 153 and following the voice prompt to activate your 4 favourite numbers for free.

But what if you want to change a number? Simply dial 153 and follow the voice prompt and enter the necessary changes that you require.

 
How it works:
• You may have 4 MTC cellphone numbers.
• You will qualify for a 10% discount on all calls to these 4 numbers - calls only, not sms or mms or e-mails.
• Call 153 free from your cellphone.
• Enter your pin, (pin upon first set up is 1111).
• You will be requested to change your pin upon which you will receive a SMS confirming your new pin.
• From here on just follow the instructions/voice prompts.
• Options available are as follow:
  - To listen or delete your numbers press 1
  - To add a new number press 2
  - To change your pin press 3
  - To terminate call press 4
• You may only enter MTC cellphone numbers starting with 081... You will receive a SMS to confirm your numbers added.
•You can add and delete as many times as you like, there are no restrictions on the number of times you would like to change and you will receive a SMS every time you make a change.
• You may also change you pin as many times as you like - its free.
• Adding is also for free BUT ...
• You will be charged N$5.00 every time you delete a number - it will appear as an unbilled debit note on the account which will affect your available credit.
• You can also not add a number again on the same day that you have deleted it.
• If you enter any wrong info more than 3 times then the call will be terminated - just try again.
• If you forget your pin - please contact the Contact Centre or go the nearest MobileHome to have your pin reset to 1111 (default).
